An Endless Style Feature
Hello lovelies. All these long absenses, what's up with me?! I'd like to take the time and apologize, and say thank you to everyone who's stayed by this blog over these empty months. School this year is proving to be more of a challenge than I thought (who would've known--senior year!), but I am going to try and get back to posting at least once a week. Could leave you fashionably hanging could I? It would be a shame. Now that that's taken care of, on to the good stuff.
The wonderful website The Daily Look gave me the oppurtunity to create and showcase my own little black dress look for New Year's Eve, and as easy as that sounds, it was pretty challenging. When you have a collection of amazingly stylish dresses to pick from, creating the perfect NYE look can be very difficult! After a few hours of back and forth decisions, I finally came up with the perfect New Year's Eve look: 'Endless Style' edition:

Can you tell I have a thing for maroon (and cropped boots)?
Daily Look has dresses for every New Year's occasion: classy or casusal. Be sure to check out their little black dress collection to find a dress that matches your personal style, or one that could be inspiration for another look. You can also check out all the pieces used in my collage on their website if you click here :).
I hope everyone is having a wondeful holiday season, and have a happy new year. Here's to new beginnings (and happy endings)!
As Always,
Stay fashionable, be yourself, and live endless.

An Endless Style Feature
Well hello there! Sorry for my disappearance for just over a month, things with school got hectic and our first term just ended so things are finally starting to slow down. Rest assured, I am back and ready to share the wonderful ways of the fashion world with you.
Recently an online bridal shop (Weddington Way) reached out to me to participate in their October style challenge. In honor of Bridal Fashion Week, the company asked the Endless blog to create the perfect bridesmaid look with one of their dresses.
I was ecstatic when I found out that the company wanted me to participate, and immediately got to work creating different outfits, and after a process of elimination, I finally got it down to my favorite look: vintage.
Here is the final bridesmaid look I went with:

Out of all of the different possible wedding themes, vintage happens to be my favorite. Therefore once I found this amazing dress through Weddington Way's website, I knew it was the right look to choose. Vintage/boho weddings tend to be more laid back, however I decided to make my look a little more chic by adding a pop of color with maroon booties and nail polish, while keep every other accessory--from clutch purse to makeup-- neutral. A floral headband is definitely an essential to the vintage wedding look, and paired with an up-do provides the perfect way for a bridesmaid to look beautiful while also keeping her hair more manageable in cases of humidity or rainfall (assuming the wedding will be outdoors).
Are you a fan of the vintage wedding, or do you have another idea on how to style a bridesmaid? Be sure to leave your comments in the section below. Weddington Way will be picking their favorite looks to feature on their Facebook page, so if you like this look be sure to share it with your friends! Who knows, maybe this look can serve as an inspiration to a future bride in your life :).
As always: stay fashionable, be yourself, and live endless.

Alexa. Chung. There simply aren't enough words in the dictionary to describe how much Alexa inspires me, or how much I look up to her. Alexa is extraordinary. She holds the position that I wish to hold one day: contributing editor at a magazine (British Vogue). She is eccentric, she is real, she is...Alexa Chung. Her book (which is now my second bible) "IT" has become my source for all outfit and makeup inspiration. I often find myself trying to mimick the way she goes about life, or wears her clothes, or does her makeup (I've started loading up mascara on my bottom lashes because the book mentioned doing it to try something different and I've fallen in love). Alexa is hands down my favorite person in the fashion world and in the regular world simply because she doesn't seem to get caught up in it all. No matter what she does, whether it's modeling or editing or attending fashion events, Alexa manages to stay sane, and I admire her for that. After all, a key factor for Endless Style is to be yourself, right.
Be sure to do some reasearch on Alexa, and I'm sure you'll grow to love her (and the book) as much as I do.

Shirt: Target
Shorts: H&M
Shoes: Doc Marten
Jewelry: Assorted
Although this outfit seems easy to put together, creating the perfect denim-on-denim outfit is a challenge. One wrong outfit piece and you can go from stylish to tacky within seconds; so with that my best advice to trying out this trend is to look up examples of other double denim attempts. Search 'denim on denim' on Google Images and millions of search results will show up: some dos and some definitely don'ts.
On to the glorious Labor-Day rule: a fun fashion fact about me is that I will ALWAYS wear white after Labor Day. Always. Why should an old fashion rule hold true in today's day and age, with trends constantly changing day by day? There's only one answer: it shouldn't. If you want to wear white after Labor Day, I say go for it. Fashion is about taking risks. Don't let anyone tell you what to wear or how to wear it, because everyone's style is different (end of rant).
Like the look? Despise matching seperates? Appalled by my Labor Day beliefs? Make sure to leave your comments in the section below :)

Outfit of The Day

It's that time of year again. Pack away the swim suits and bring out the text books-- it's time to start school again. I actually started school on Tuesday, but being a SENIOR (woo) now, my first day of school outfit was a little...odd. This was my favorite outfit for the week.
Top: Nordstrom BP.
Skirt: Target
Shoes: Target (high five to myself for lasting all day in these)
Cardigan: H&M
Necklace: TopShop
Earrings: Claire's
Bracelets: Assorted

THIS was what I wore on the first day of school. The outfit came complete with a brand new pair of heelys. Yes-- the shoes with wheels in the heels. Senior year, right (Recognize the other face from a different ES blog feature)?
I know the posts have been a little delayed lately, but with school starting up again and college/ job applications, my schedule is just a tad bit more hectic than usual. I will try to update at least once a week, but just bare with me!
Make sure to leave comments if you'd like :)

Street Style: A Summer Photo Shoot Series
Part 2:

As soon as I asked Alyssa and Teagan to be featured in this Street Style segment, they both agreed without hesitation. They both are fun, carefree girls with summer souls-- all of which is shown in their outfit choices.
Alyssa's style can be described as classy with an edge. She tends to aim more towards the chiffon and lace crop tops, and pairs them with an adorable pair of either high waisted or low-ride shorts. Her sense of style reminds me of one you would see off of tumblr and reblog right away- a look that draws attention from head to toe. Lyss has a great judgement and even greater eye for fashion. Her eye for fashion is one you should admire.
Teagan's style is somewhat like my own: all over the place. Teags can go from classy to grunge, sporty to boho, dressed up to dressed down-- and look fantastic in it all. She has proven to be just as amazing behind the camera as she is in front of it, as I often find myself turning to her for advice on different photo angles, or outfit choices. Teagan's eye is more aimed towards color schemes: she can tell if two colors put together will look terrific or tacky, or if color blocking is a thing for you to try or not. Teagan knows the ins and outs of the fashion world better than she thinks.
Together, these ladies were lovely to work with. We laughed, we climbed trees, we even danced a little. I can't thank them enough for not only helping me with the shoot, but for helping me with outfit choices on a daily basis. I would feel a little lost without them (I only say a little because I write a blog. I have to know at least something about fashion).
Here it is, part two of Street Style: Alyssa and Teagan. Be sure to leave comments and subrscribe to the channel to stay updated.

Street Style: A Summer Photo Shoot Series
Part 1:

While Mateo seemed excited when I originally approached him about this photoshoot idea, Macy was a little nervous. However her sense of style is right up my alley, and therefore I knew it was a must that I start this new summer segment off with her. Macy's style reminds me of Kylie Jenner mixed with Vanessa Hudgens- a grunge start with a little boho addition that makes her style one to envy and adore all at once.
Mateo also has an amazing taste in clothing for your average teenage boy. I can tell he takes a lot of look ideas from Kanye West, and maybe a little from A$AP Rocky (I consulted him a little actually when I was writing my inspiration post about Rocky). He's got a very good judgement and does a wonderful job of picking out pieces that push the boundaries of fashion, yet also aren't too crazy for the public eye.
Both Macy and Mateo make style choices that leave me speechless (almost like a proud mom kind of feeling, but then overcome with envy and an 'I want to raid your closet').
We had great lighting, great outfits, and great people. What more could you ask for?
I can't thank Macy and Mateo enough for being the first photo shoot of the summer, they truly are some of the best people out there.
So, without further ado here is my video compilation of the first shoot from Street Style: A Summer Photo Shoot Series. Enjoy!

Today's Inspiration:

Although I chose Vanessa Hudgens as today's inspiration partially from the fact that I had a High School Musical marathon yesterday and was feeling very nostalgic, Vanessa is truly one of my favorite inspirations in the fashion world. Her ability to switch it up between boho, classy, and edgy styles simply put me in awe. Her outfit choices are actually some that I (attempt) to wear when I'm out with friends, or going to a party. This could really be the start of something new for Vanessa- her style choices are setting trends worldwide (I had to include the HSM pun, this post wouldn't be complete without it).
Love Vanessa Hudgens? Been a fan since HSM? Be sure to leave a comment below :)

Clothing Haul
H&M...aka my current favorite store:

This long cutoff Nirvana tank was a necessary purchase for me, due to closet Nirvana obsession (this also ties into my number one rule of wearing a band tee- make sure you LISTEN to the band before you wear the shirt- people will ask you about them!)
*Shorts in this picture are also new from Forever 21*

STORY TIME: When I was in the store I saw this skirt on one of the racks and it looked very...confusing. It was like a high low, but the front of the skirt was un-doable. My friend Teagan and I were very confused, until we had a MAJOR FASHION EPIPHANY: undo the hooks of the skirt and wear it like how you would wear a cardigan, except around your waist. I actually started tearing up in the store because I was so excited to try it out. Personally, I love it. But leave a comment below and let me know what you think!
Marshalls:

Off-the-shoulder shirts are my latest fashion obsession. My next goal is to get a dress in this style. The print was also another thing that made it impossible for me to leave the store without this shirt.

Patterned wide-leg pants. Need I say more? Well, I'm going to: these pants are terribly comfy, and paired with a simple colored shirt they'll have you ready for a night out with the girls in no time.

Nothing like a pair of patterned shorts to spice up a summer outfit. These shorts were a definite must-have for me, so once I found them they never left my hand. I have no regrets.
Printed pieces are making a huge show in summer fashion this year! My advice: if you ever find yourself at the store, don't overlook the patterns. EMBRACE THE COLOR!

My Top 5:

1- Birkenstock sandals. Being a trend that gained a lot of momentum last summer, the Birkenstock sandal is definitely a shoe that I believe is a necessity to complete every fashonista's closet (or if you are a super cool stylish male. I applaud you).

2- Tall gladiator sandals. Regular gladiator-style sandals will always be around, but this unique tall style of the simple shoe will be sure to draw attention to any simple outfit. These shoes are a very bold move, therefore I encourage all of my readers to try them out. FASHION IS ALL ABOUT THE RISK!

3- Converse High-Tops. This basic shoe will definitely complete your summer wardrobe. Perfect for dressing down, or going on adventures, high tops are the best (and most stylish) shoes for all your non-dressy/ non-beachy summer needs.

4- Havaianas flip flops... or just your fave pair of flip flops. Simply put: it's summer. It's hot out. Let your feet breathe, and keep it simple with a nice pair of flippy floppys.

5- Nike Roshe Runs. These shoes have blown up in the past couple of months. As the sneaker trend continues to rise, Roshe Runs are a shoe that I feel has definite potential. Wear them with a dress. Wear to the gym. Wear them anywhere, with almost anything.
See any shoes you like or don't like? Already own a pair? Know of a pair of shoes that should be considered in my top 5? Leave a comment below.

This type of skirt is definitely on my list of things important to summer fashion. The simple yet at the same time intricate design of the skirt has been popping up everywhere, and comes in many different styles: business, casual, or even dressy chic. You can start to find this style of skirt at any of your local retailers (I just picked one up from H&M a few weeks ago). Already own a wrap skirt? Absolutely disguisted that this skirt is actually in style? Whatever your opinion is, leave a comment below and let me hear it.

Today's Inspiration:

Jourdan Dunn is my favorite fashion model of this day and age (sorry Delevingne fans). Her unique sense of style and love for prints and the more sporty chic side of fashion is what inspires my daily outfit choices. Jourdan can be see modeling for many companies including DKNY and (my favorite) H&M. She is not afraid to push the boundaries of fashion, and maybe that skill comes with constantly walking the runway in new and creative pieces by the worlds top designers, but it's something I look up to. Be sure to leave a comment if you love Jourdan as much as I do, or have another fashion icon you want me to talk about!

This trend just happens to be on of my favorites. Frayed and fringed clothing is all the rage, expiecially in summer. Adding this texture to your closest doesn't have to be expensive either- grab yourself a pair of scissors and get to work (scissors have easily become one of my best friends). Check out ELLE UK's favorite frayed outfits here, or go out and buy something frayed that caught your eye.

Lorde's sense of style is the definitition of bold. Many people don't like it, but I admire the hardcore grunge look the pop star has going on. Along with being one of my favorite new artists from this year, Lorde's style game has got people talking, but I think she deserves props for her choices. Lorde brings the controversy back into fashion, and although some of her pieces are a little out there, she inspires others to be bold and confident in what you wear.
Moral of the story- next time you think an outfit is a little too edgy- wear it. Bold is better!
